Although income for its biggest brands climbed, rivals in the sector faltered, and sports betting revenue in New Jersey fell 7.4 percent year-on-year to $77.9 million.
The record-high wagering amount in October 2021 was $1.30 billion, and this statistic represents a decrease of 18.1% for players. Out of this amount, $987.6 million was spent online, while the remaining $72.6 million was spent in-person.
With $45.4 million in sports betting revenue, an increase of 3.0%, the Meadowlands maintained its dominant position in the industry, thanks to a FanDuel betting skin. Resorts Digital came in at number two, with $17.2 million, an increase of 8.0%, thanks to its partnership with DraftKings.
With $9.5 million, an increase of 18.7 percent, the Borgata, a partner of BetMGM, was the sole operator to achieve a market share of more than 3 percent.
